As a pet sitter in Toms River whose been caring for pets for over a decade, I drive A LOT! Imagine hundreds of thousands of miles between the client’s home, vet hospitals, pet stores, and community events. I’ve spent many hours transporting pets to the hospital and groomers. You could say that I live in my car and since my car always seems to have a dog in it, my family and friends have named it, “The Dog Mobile.”
I have to laugh every time I offer to drive somewhere and the response is, “Everyone to The Dog Mobile!” I think it’s even funnier when passengers move aside leashes, muzzles and other tools of the trade just so they can have a seat. Some people may think I’m crazy, I like to think that I’m dedicated! I don’t think of it as a negative thing, but more as an honor. I’ve been able to help many pets and their owners throughout the years and I’m happy to be there for them.
Since you must be a dog person to be reading this, I thought it would be fun to play a little game. How many of the following items can be found in your car? The more you say, “YES!” the closer you are to having your very own Dog Mobile!
